Sr. Copywriter, LEGO Agency
The LEGO Agency is seeking a campaign focused, Senior Copywriter that is ready to create the best work of their career.As a Senior Copywriter at LEGO, you will play an essential role in the creative ideation and execution of integrated advertising campaigns stretching across digital, social, broadcast, print and retail platforms.
What we are looking for:The ideal candidate will be looking to bring years of digital agency experience into an internal creative agency for one of the world’s most respected brands.
You will report to the Associate Creative Director, while partnering directly with Sr. Art Directors to develop best-in-class creative concepts for large and small scale national campaigns that have a digital focus. You will be tasked with developing an innovative approach to copy that is built on a deep understanding of the nuances of speaking to kids, parents and/or fans. You will be a creative team lead that has the chops to create big ideas, paired with the persuasive skills to present your work to the agency leadership team, marketing managers and LEGO executives alike. As a member of the creative team you will also collaborate closely with a cross functional team of Strategists, Account Managers, Project Managers and Production Specialists to get the job done.
The LEGO Agency is an award-winning, full-service internal creative agency with offices in China, Denmark, UK and US. This position is located in Enfield, CT as part of the Americas hub, servicing the North and South American regions for LEGO.
This role is onsite at our US hub in Enfield, CT.
Do you have what it takes?• 5+ years of experience at an advertising agency with a focus on digital campaigns
• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Advertising or equivalent field preferred
• A distinctive portfolio of innovative digital advertising campaigns
• Demonstrated experience with idea generation and copywriting execution across digital, broadcast, social and retail platforms (deep knowledge of digital and social platforms is a must)
• Proven to be fearless, strategic, boundlessly creative and relentlessly attentive to detail
• Effectively influence colleagues across regions and functions
• Team leader that can mentor and inspire junior creative staff
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Highly collaborative approach
